Terms of service

These terms govern your use of the Starterdough service provided by [Company name] at [Service URL] (the “Service”). By creating an account you agree to them. Questions go to [Contact email].
Accounts
You must provide a valid email address and keep your credentials confidential. You are responsible for activity under your account. You may enable two-factor authentication and passkeys, and review or revoke your sessions, from the security settings. We may suspend accounts that violate these terms, for a fixed period or indefinitely.
Organizations
An organization is the tenant and billing entity. Its owner controls membership, roles, billing and deletion; admins may manage members and billing; members use the workspaces they are given access to. Inviting someone makes you responsible for having the right to share the organization’s data with them.
Plans and billing
The Free plan is available without payment and subject to the limits shown on the pricing page. Paid plans are billed to the organization through Stripe, monthly, in advance. Per-seat plans charge for each member; the seat count follows membership automatically and differences are prorated. Trials convert to paid subscriptions unless cancelled before the trial ends.
You can upgrade, cancel or restore a subscription and update payment details from the billing page. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current period. If a payment fails we will retry it and notify the organization’s owners and administrators; access continues during the retry period and reverts to the Free plan if the payment cannot be collected. Fees exclude taxes, which are your responsibility unless stated otherwise.
Acceptable use
Do not use the Service to break the law, infringe others’ rights, distribute malware, send unsolicited messages, or attempt to access other tenants’ data or disrupt the Service. We enforce rate limits and may suspend accounts or organizations that abuse the Service.
Your content
You keep the rights to the content you store in workspaces. You grant us the licence needed to host, process and display it in order to provide the Service. You are responsible for having the rights to the content you upload.
Availability and changes
We aim to keep the Service available but do not guarantee uninterrupted operation. We may change or discontinue features with reasonable notice. Release notes are published on the changelog page.
Termination
You may delete your account at any time from the settings page. The sole owner of an organization with an active subscription must cancel it or transfer ownership first. We may terminate accounts that violate these terms.
Disclaimers and liability
The Service is provided “as is”. To the extent permitted by law we disclaim implied warranties and limit our liability to the fees paid by your organization in the twelve months preceding the claim. [Adjust to your jurisdiction.]
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of [Jurisdiction]. Disputes are subject to the courts of [Venue].
