Questions
What is an AI credit?
One unit of document and text processing. Uploading, downloading, deleting and searching cost nothing; queueing a piece of work costs the credits below, charged when it starts and refunded in full if it fails for good or you cancel it. The budget is per organization and resets at the start of each calendar month (UTC); your billing page shows what is left.
- Extract the text of a document: 1 credit
- Summarize a document: 5 credits
- Index a document for search: 2 credits
- Summarize a block of text: 5 credits
- Embed a batch of text: 1 credit
How much can I store?
Each workspace has its own storage cap (Free 100 MB, Pro 5 GB, Team 50 GB), counted over the documents it holds, including uploads still in flight. Deleting a document frees its bytes immediately. The largest single file is set by whoever runs the deployment (25 MiB by default), not by the plan.
How are seats billed?
On per-seat plans the seat count is synced automatically with your organization’s member count. When someone joins or leaves, the subscription quantity updates and the difference is prorated on your next invoice.
What happens when a payment fails?
Access continues while Stripe retries the payment over the following days, and the app shows a banner so you can update your card. If the payment cannot be collected, the organization falls back to the Free plan.
Who can change the plan?
Every member can see the organization’s plan; owners and admins can upgrade, cancel, restore and open the customer portal. The roles are the same ones used everywhere else in the app.
Can I self-host without billing?
Yes. When no Stripe keys are configured, billing is turned off and nothing is capped: no plan limits are enforced.
